The Maxi 24 EX combines useful 24 hen egg capacity with a huge specification yet it's easy to use. It provides the ideal environmental control for maximum hatch rates of small numbers of eggs. The high frequency turn facility makes these refined incubators ideal for parrots as well as all other eggs up to goose egg size. With great visibility of the hatching eggs and the convenience of integral water pump, integral automatic humidity control and the latest technical innovations from Brinsea it takes the guesswork out of incubation.
This incubator features all of Brinsea’ s technology, new and old, and gives you the best chance of hatching your eggs.
Main Features
Maxi 24 EX incubator now holds 24 hens' eggs, thanks to Brinsea's new, innovative system of egg disk quadrants. These quadrants simply clip together to allow eggs of one size to be incubated or eggs of different sizes to be incubated together when using different species specific quadrants. Comes supplied with hen and duck quadrants as standard.
The Maxi 24 EX turns the eggs automatically and provides full digital control of temperature and humidity. Brinsea's patented alarms warn of power failure and incubation temperature fluctuations, this machine also features periodic cooling options. With a high frequency turn option this machine is suitable for incubating a wide range of species.

The Maxi II Eco is the most basic machine, it uses a liquid in glass thermometer for the temperature reading (there is no humidity display) and egg-turning needs to be performed by hand. You need to turn the eggs 3-4 times a day. Whereas the Maxi II Advance and EX versions have a digital display for the temperature and humidity, as well as automatic egg turning.
In addition to the Maxi II Advance features, the Maxi II EX has automatic humidity control which draws water into the incubator automatically as its needed, accurately maintaining the humidity at the desired level.
The only difference between the two machines is the size and egg capacity. The Maxi II is the larger machine and holds up to 14 hen sized eggs or equivalent whereas the Mini II holds up to 7 hen sized eggs or equivalent.
The Eco, Advance and EX versions of the Maxi II match the specifications of the Eco, Advance and EX versions of the Mini II. The only difference is the egg capacity.
Supplied with the Brinsea Maxi 24 Ex is 4 sets of egg quadrants.
A set to take 24 hens’ eggs, a set for 12 duck eggs, a set for 40 quail eggs and a set for 8 goose eggs.
You do not need to purchase any additional eggs quadrants or trays for this machine as it is supplied with all the trays you need to be able to hatch, hen, quail, duck and goose eggs.

I love this incubator. It was easy to set up following instructions in the comprehensive manual supplied with it and easy to program with the required settings. The automatic humidity takes all the guesswork and worry out of how much water to add. Great product. |

I have so far bought 7 devices of this type. It is a very wonderful device. I am the largest operator of Brinsea hatcheries in Egypt. Thank you for the sweets that are sent with the devices. My children love them |

Having had a Brinsea incubator before, I knew what I wanted when I needed a larger incubator this time around. This time I opted for the model with the automatic humidity control to take the worry & contusion out of trying to control the humidity. It seems to work fantastically well, however do note that having this function, replaces the ability to track the number of DAYS left for the hatch. You will manually have to track that and stop the turning of eggs on day 18 and place them on the hatching cardboard or mat. And the last 3 days, the humidity should be in the 65-70% range. I also found that as I live in a cold stone house and my night temperature drops at night, the alarm kept going off to alert me to that. I had to make sure that I place the incubator in as draught free position in the house as possible, and I also loosely placed a layer of bubble wrap around the sides (I did not close the top or any of the air vents). All in all, a great incubator. |

Quiet, efficient, accurate, a very nice bit of kit. It comes with a single language manual that makes sense and it's British made! When there are so many naff products out there, Brinsea has restored my faith in manufacturing, I wouldn't hesitate to buy their products again. Thank you to all. |

I got this incubator a couple of weeks ago. Its excellent. It keeps the right temperature and humidity. No fiddling about with water to get the correct level of humidity anymore it does it for you. |

As you’d expect from Brinsea. Excellent product. Temperature and humidity matches the “checks” and it keeps its own levels fantastically |

Thank you for very prompt service, not used incubator yet but if it's as good as your chick brooder which cared for quail chicks in January perfectly |

I love my Brinsea Maxi 24 EX Incubator. It is so easy to use. I would just go and see if all was ok once or twice a day. I had 21 quail eggs in, I got 12 lovely quail chicks. I had the eggs thought the post and if your lucky 50% is good. |

Arrived quickly, easy to set up although the manual was a B/W photocopy and I found the photos difficult to see. A full colour pdf manual is available on the brinsea.com website so not a problem. will I use theincudatorshop.co.uk again? YES |
