These Queen Bee roller cages are ideal to use when rearing Queen Bees either in an Incubator or in the Hive.
Can also be used with the Nicot Cupkit queen rearing system and in addtion with the Nicot queen cell cups and Nicot Cell bar block and Cup caps.
The best time to use these roller cages is at around 8-9 days after the larvae have been laid, when the queen cells have been capped and no longer need feeding. Carefully slide the roller cage over each queen cell up to the cup cap where it should sit nicely inside the roller cage. From there the roller cages can either be moved into an Incubator or back into the Hive to hatch.
A good thing to remember when the queens have hatched is that you'll need to put a small amount of honey in the bottom of the roller cage or the queen will go back into the top of the queen cell thinking that it's food, and die.
Once the Queens have hatched, it is best to leave them in the roller cage for around 24-48 hours before you introduce the new Queens to the hives.
Pack contains 50 roller cages only.
