The NEW Rcom 10 Mini Eco is one of Rcom's latest egg incubators. The Rcom 10 Mini Eco is a manual egg turning incubator. It is exceptionally easy to use and clean and has fantastic temperature stability.
It can hold between ten and fifteen hen eggs; or between thirty and fourty-eight quail eggs.
Egg turning is performed manually in the Rcom 10 Mini Eco. Simply lift the lid and rotate the eggs by hand. This should be done three times per day. Rcom's high quality temperature sensors will ensure minimal loss of heat during the egg turning.
Precise temperature control is a key feature of the Rcom 10 Mini Eco. The incubator is fan assisted and the shape of the machine is engineered specifically to optimise the flow of warm air.
Temperature is factory set and read through a liquid-in-glass thermometer. Adjustments to the temperature can be made easily using the in-built adjustment screw on the side of the machine's lid.
The Rcom 10 Mini Eco features easy humidity control via an external water tray. Simply pour water into the external tray to increase humidity in the machine without the need to lift the lid.
The Rcom 10 Mini Eco is packed with additional features, making it one of the most advanced incubators available. Features include:
* Clear and transparent viewing window. The control panel detaches in one-click for easy cleaning
* Variable air vent to allow for easy control of air inside the unit
* A closed structure to prevent condensation and maintain clear visibility
* The bottom of the egg chamber features an embossed, non-slip floor to prevent injury and deformity of the chicks' legs

In a ‘manual’ incubator, eggs must be turned ‘manually’, meaning you must turn each egg by hand usually around 3-4 times a day.
Automatic incubators will automatically turn the eggs for you. On some automatic machines, you can set the timings of the turns, as well as the duration or angle of the turn. This can be important if you’re incubating specialist birds such as falcons or exotic birds.
Semi-automatic incubators don’t require you to turn each egg by hand, but equally there is no motor to turn them for you either. So, normally semi-automatic machines have a handle or lever that you push and pull to roll or rock all the eggs at the same time. Or, some incubators have specially shaped bases that allow you to tilt the entire machine back and forth.
Please note that ‘manual’ and ‘automatic’, when used in the item name, only refers to the egg turning type. It does not relate to the humidity control or to any other feature.
Just hatched 7 out of 10 chicks on my 1st attempt. Very Happy with my purchase.
I just love this incubator, it arrived really quickly and is now full of eggs. It even has its own screwdriver to adjust the temperature. thanks Mally
I'm a very happy shopper. I'm on my 3rd hatch now. We put 12 full-size eggs in; 9 hatched the first time, and 11 the second time. We're hooked!
Hopeful of a good hatch in a few days. The incubator is easy to set up seems to be doing a good job so far.
I was delighted when my bantam chicks started to hatch... it was so exciting to watch and we now have a brood of tiny bantams who have moved into the brooder we bought at the same time.
This item works really well and keeps the temperature constant. I am impressed. if you can afford it, buy the automatic egg turner version because it is hard to turn the eggs yourself every 4/5 hours. The instruction book is translated from Korean so it is hard to understand at times, but make sure you read it first. NB the thermometer goes inside! There is a special clip you have to install with the special little screwdriver they give you. Also use ironing water (deionised) if you live in a hard water area. Excellent product.
