We do not recommend using poultry incubators for reptile incubation. Reptiles require vert different temperatures and humidity levels to poultry and in so have different calibrated working ranges.
Poultry incubators a required to be set at usually 37.5c andmost will have a range of 34c-38c (varies depending on the incubator), this means if the temperature is set anywhere between 34c-38c it will work at its best, if it set outside of this range it may struggle to hold and regulate the temperature effectively.
Reptile incubation will require a temperature of 26c-32c, if you where to set a poultry incubators at this low level it would struggle to hold and regulate that temperature as it is outside of it working range/tolerance.
Reptile incuabtors are calibrated specifically to work its best between 26-33c (varies depending on the incubator), which ensures it can holding/regulate the temperature to provide optimum conditions for incubation.
