The TLC-5 brooder provides the features and performance of the TLC-4 but with around three times the internal volume making it ideal for larger birds or bigger clutches. Fitted with a clear plastic door as standard, a stainless steel wire door can be added to improve secuirty and allow the brooder to be used with vastly increased air circulation.

The TLC-5 is an ideal system for the brooding of Exotic Species including Parrots and Birds of Prey. These types of birds once hatched are blind and helpless, it is some weeks before they are able to move around, maintain their own body temperature or feed. During this period it is important that the young birds are kept safe, clean and away from airborne contaminants. Young birds also benefit from being able to see humans from within the chamber if they are to become tame in adulthood.
